Mission trip to Jacmel
In November, 2015 a twelve person team (ten from Zion Lutheran of Walburg, Texas and two from Valley Lutheran of Chagrin Falls, Ohio) traveled to Jacmel for a 9 day Mission.
The team stayed at the John 3:16 Guest House and conducted activities with the cooperation/support of Pastor Marky and Sydney Kessa, and staff.
The team conducted eye glass clinics, helped support and serve at the Beaudouin feeding program, conducted several Vacation Bible Schools, and distributed hygiene kits, Bible movies were shown along with giving out Gospel bracelets. The team visited the Center of Refuge Orphanage and played with the children. 200+ outfits were given to children in Beaudouin. Several on the team visited shut-ins and brought them clothing, hygiene kits and rice and beans.
The team felt blessed to serve Our Lord by serving our Brothers and Sisters in Haiti.
