There is a lot of energy being generated by students from Concordia University , Nebraska. The missionary team is showing the love of Christ to older Haitians by participating in the elder care program of Ministry In Mission, that provides food, and other s
upplies to those that have no support in their old age.
We visited 8 needy people on Tuesday after buying rice, beans, sugar, dried fish , and oil at the local store. The team carried the bulk supplies back to the John 3:16 Guest House and made individual portions to take to the elderly. One lady h
ad to kiss each one of us. We prayed with each person and Mano, the guest house director translated. It was very special. Later in the afternoon we fed about 100 kids at the Ministry In Mission. Beadouin feeding program.
The team visited the Center of Refuge Orphanage and had fun playing with the orphans. We will hold a Vacation Bible School with the orphans later in the week. Nathan, one of the missionaries showed off his dancing skills for the crowd.
